Driver Spotlight’s
Hey all, I will be hosting a show on my youtube channel highlighting people from the Diecast world. It will mainly be focused on highlighting the builder/drivers. I know a lot of you have been around, and done stuff like this before, or maybe you haven't, either way I'd like to create a place for everyone. It can be hard for new people to reach back into the archives to learn about who started where, who has achieved what. This will let the new builders and the audiance get some faces with the names, and at the very least the names that go with the iconic cars and numbers if you're camera shy.
I have a pretty simple format, We can do an email exchange and I can write all your stats and you can answer the questions I send you. We'd show off some of your cars, talk about some of your highlights. It would just basically be an interview. I would say no longer than 10 to 15 minutes per person. That way we can keep it short. we could also try filming the interview, if that's something you might be interested in. I'm open to ideas when it comes to that.
If you're feeling like the hobby is dying, then maybe this is a way we can get people back on board and or at least get people excited about racing again and learning about you, the driving forces behind mail in races.
If you're interested, leave a comment here that you want to do this, or send me a direct message or reach out to me via Facebook messenger. Whatever's easiest for you. Here's my email if you'd rather just communicate that way too - Trevor@gmsellc.com
Thanks guys and I hope some of you will take part in this!

I think it's a great idea! This is a great hobby that anyone at any age can get into. From track hosts to builders, there's a ton of stories out there!
