Event entry form is broken? [FIXED]

I have been using this form for entering races;

https://www.redlinederby.com/download/rld-mailentryform.pdf

I have been using Windows 11's built-in PDF viewer and when I would try to enter a second car on the bottom portion, it automatically changes the top portion.  IE: It is as though I can fill out ONE car and it will occupy both spots with both showing the bottom details.

This past weekend I had seen an inconsistancy with the Window's PDF utiity and installed Adobe Reader.  The author said it needed Adobe.  This allowed for external data collection (from a special fillable form I had to use) to show up on my system that otherwise I was not getting with the Windows 11 program.  So I then bring up RLD's entry form again to see if using Adobe might fix the issue, but it doesn't.

Is the RLD Form supposed to allow me to enter 2 separate cars on the form?  Mine seem to only allow 1 car to be entered, and if I try to add the second car, it overwrites the other top one.  I have also tried downloading fresh forms but to no avail there either.

I would like to know so I am not beating my head over wondering why I can't get it to let me type the fillable form with 2 separate cars and if it is just my system that somehow can't read the PDF file correctly. :-(

Discussion

I normally just print it and fill it in by hand...

The race form has some issues but I use an app called Preview on a Mac and I can add 2 or 3 cars. A bit clunky but it works

LIB MR ducks! How come no one told me this sooner? LOL Its probably been like that for years! I guess quality control isn't my strong suit.

I should be able to fix that pretty quickly, assuming I have all the right software still.

Sorry everyone! Thanks RG for calling it out. Will post when it's resolved.

FIXED

The fill-in PDF entry form should now work as you would expect - no repeating fields.

If you downloaded the PDF to your desktop previously, I encourage you to download the updated version. Use the link on the entry form post to make sure you get the official version.

  • Just downloaded it, put in some test data, and it seems to work as you intended now. Thank you. — RacerGnome
