Fastest new HW models
Just thought I'd start a thread about the fastest castings that HW (and MBX maybe) have put out lately.
A real standout to me has been the Chevy Silverado EV RST. I've seen it race multiple places and do well.
I just bought a '31 Ford Model A Custom. It made it to my top 5 fastest stock cars I own!
An older casting but one I think is pretty good: Track Dwagon. I've only bought a couple of the original paint job so far, and they've been decently quick.
I've also heard that the new casting Hot Wheengs can be fast. I'm sending one to Elevation Diecast Racing for his gift car race, so I guess we'll find out!
Recently I've noticed that HW Mainlines as a whole have been a little faster than before. Has anyone else noticed that?

silverado aside they're all new ones on me. Which colour / year models have you had luck with?
- Model A and Hot Wheengs have only had one color released so far. Track Dwagon's original gray and neon pink — ManiacMotorsports

I agree with the Chevy EV Silverado. It's quick straight out of the packet! I've got a Pick your Ride event going down, so will see how some 'randoms' perform.
Too many to pick just one. If you're hunting for speed I suggest checking out some 5-packs. There is the Starter Set and the Stunt Set that are on my wish list right now. Also I'm a big fan of X-ray Cars and Mystery Cars. Good luck.

I realize it's not a mainline but, has anyone rolled a BMW M1 Procar from the 2025 Hot Ones series? Full metal casting previously released as a premium w/RRs, now with chrome HOs...much potential there.

Some others that I test ran in preparation for a mail in tournament using stock entries from 2024-2025 that were fast.

Nissan Maxima Drift Wagon (Silver Nightburnerz 5-Pack Exclusive was hands down Fastest)
Koenesegg Jesko (Purple seemed faster than the yellow variant)
White Honda Civic SI (Gold Civic SI was slower)
I ran a lot of track trials when determining my entry and the Silverado EV RST was the clear favorite but any of these cars could give it a run for it's money!

- The new 2025 Ford Mustang Funny car in red, the mainline does pretty well with a ISPx Dry graphite. I applied a few rounds of it letting each application dry after a few track runs overnight. After about three nights it was rolling smooth. — DRIFT_or_DIEcast_Racing
