Favorite Racing Track
Just wondering...for the most part I see most of us are using dual lane tracks for our racing. (Traditional Drag Strip style racing). But was wanting to ask everyone here, what is your favorite track to race? (2 lane, 4 lane, 6 lane...short track, long track 20 footer 50 ft etc.)

I used to do 4 lane racing for years and did lots of "last place was eliminated" tournaments which were super epic and took forever. lots of fun though. I soon realized that my starting gate wasn't fair enough to do such an event and haven't done one in a long time, even though I have a new gate. Mostly just 1v1 now!
As for length, I prefer smaller tracks as well for the same reason as TLD.
We run a 24ft. track 2 lane at the Lincoln Johnny Lightning Race Club. I personally like a shorter track more so than a huge 50 ft. track. The Rhode Island Hot Wheels Club runs a 50ft. track 2 lane and its a monster. What I have always said is we have four clubs here in New England that race on a monthly basis and its nice to have all four tracks different sizes just like the NHRA every track is different. Great topic!
Of the 2 I have, I like the 12' "Jersey Shore Dragway" best. What with the shallow drop making for really realistic racing, and it being set up 24/7 with the Judge finish line. I love it!

I'm all about the two lane tracks. It just makes sense.
I started out with an 18 foot track. Lengthened it to 25 feet. Later lengthened it to 32 feet. I liked the 25 footer and making it longer and longer seemed like a good idea. I found out though, when running races myself, that the 32 feet is a a much longer walk going back and forth over and over.
I run it at 32 feet when there's a series going on. Because it's a different length than the other tracks which are usually around 18,25 or 50 feet.
When I'm just racing with my daughter or doing testing, I think 25 feet is a good length.
