Featherweight Challenge Series 1 (California)
And I do like that Chevroletor too!
Thanks Carl...its a 2010 'Treasure Hunt'...I thought it might raise some eyebrows.
no surprize but i had not seen that casting before... hope i don't get a close up of it's tail lights...
Wow a real treasure hunt that's out of the package! A rarity! And it's being raced. A double rarity.
All the team photos are up, except Tastelikedirt Racing, Goolz11, GoolzJr., and R&S Racing. Those teams are all at the track waiting for the rest to arrive.
Jamaharv car is in Sonora, but locked up at the Post Office till Monday. I'm really bummed about this because they have always put packages in a bigger PO Box where there is 24 access. This time they left a slip that says I have to pick it up between 9-11AM mon-fri. To say they have limited hours is no exaggeration. It will get sent to Texas with the rest of the cars, but I'm saddened I can't do anything to get it before Monday.
Tastelikedirt Racing, Goolz11, GoolzJr., and R&S Racing will all recieve there racing numbers Sunday. All other cars are numbered up and official.
very cool how the austin diecast team cars almost look like cartoons, actually drawings...
Great looking rides from everyone so far...sweet!

If his featherweights roll anything like his heavyweights, we won't be laughing!
Austin Diecast team looks like they're wearing tuxedos.
The Royal Racing team is looking pretty classy as well.
royal racing's driver is Chase D. ... get it, chased... as opposed to chasing....clever
RACE DAY PLAN Sunday March 4
There is no computer access at Tastelikedirt Raceway. I don't think I'll be home from the racing until after 5PM Pacific time.
I could A: Start putting together photo brackets (as seen in other threads) and start posting each 8 car bracket as I complete them. I'm not totally sure how long this will take (Maybe one or two hours, A three year old that runs around here could be a factor). Keep doing this until the winner is revealed.
I could B: Post the results to the Google docs page as soon as I walk thru the door (Between 5 or 6PM Pacific time). Worry about photo brackets later.
I could C: Start working on the photo brackets when I get home. If it's going to slow/to late for people in the East. Just set a deadline of say 8 or 9 PM Pacific where the results get posted at the Google Docs no matter how far along the photo brackets have progressed.
Any suggestions are more than welcome.
T.L.D., do what fits your schedule best... "B" lets me call fred's grandmom by 9 pm... can't wait !
Thanks! This was my first experience attempting modifications on 1/64 diecast cars, and I don't have a test track or anything.. I have a feeling they'll be really slow, but I'm excited to see what happens! I'll be happy if they even come back with all their wheels still attached
