Fireball Tim's Drag Track
My wife found this drag set for me at a garage sale for $20 bucks. It has the auto start and electronic finish line which both work great. Gonna modify it to to fit onto my seamless track. My son and I played with it before his bedtime last night -he loves the cool drag strip sound effects "Vroom Vroom!!!"

The Fireball Drag Track is the exact same track as the Expert Drag Track that I reviewed a couple years ago - just different colors and stickers. It's a pretty good track for what you get - especially for $20 - nice score! I love the finish line and just wish you could use it separately. The only beef I had with that track is that its not compatible with regular orange truck (and that there was no mute for sound)

i to hated the sound, [200 pass kids race] ...take the 6 philips screws out from underneath...snip and tape both ends of either speaker wire...or splice in a little wire and a switch...
" a blind friend races fairly well by memorizing the "melody"... go tom go !"
also a little over 100 passes per [4] C batteries...
one of our RDR racers got the ac converter, shipped, for half the $ of a new one, $16+...
drag tracks conversion to hot wheels and back can be done.
FINALLY, IF ANYONE CAN WIRE THESE [CIRCUITBOARD] TO LAUNCH WITH THE GREEN LIGHT ,ELIMINATING REACTION TIME, I WILL PAY TO HAVE MINE ALTERED... A RADIOSHACK LIGHT ACTIVATED SWITCH NEEDS MORE LIGHT THAN THE GREEN LED PUTS OUT...WORKS GREAT WITH A FLASHLIGHT...WOULD LOVE TO TIME THE CARS NOT THE RACERS !

WES says always have the drag tracks connectors [male] point uphill because the female end is slightly narrower...
