On another thread surfersmurf78 mentioned that he sent in cars.
Any word on them tastelikedirt?

I.M.O. i like T.L.D's scoring... one point for each win, [ easy placing]... maybe 3 for the king , 2 for second ! I.M.O....

This would be a good idea if we had a 'perfect bracket', one with 16, 32, or 64 cars. With some cars getting byes it's not quite the same.

Run off the ties tomorrow morning and hope to get the cars in the mail at lunch time.

Thanks Jim for the awesome play by play. I was totally bummed when both my cars lost their first races, so believe me, watching the Demon win the rest of its races was a complete thrill! That Demon was originally purple and one of my top 4 cars for speed. Guess the Olds was more looks than legs. Perhaps it will do better on it's home track

The black fronts came off a red Rat Bomb.

I can't figure out how the Demon lost the first race in the first place. Smittys' cars were pretty dominant rolling through the winners bracket. So when it got down to it, I was surprised that the Demon spanked the Woody and the '34.

I picked up a package tonight from Washington. When I do the run offs' I can do a Grudge match or two with the new entrants.

I'm just doing these guys tomorrow.

#30 & #48 are tied for 5th
#43 & #44 are tied for 7th

the way i see it 442 musta popped the clutch and burned the tires in his loss to the chevy, then ground his way back through the loser's bracket... with his 426 hemi powered demon he just out pulled the old hot rod "hanger-on", spanking the old koot two straight...
