Great HW track website
Found this website awhile ago and thought I'd share. It is a blog that chronicles various vintage Hot Wheels track sets (with Video) and a few sets that they creatively put together as "what-if/coulda-been" tracks. It's got me interested enough to invest in a Dual Lane Rod Runner, Dual Lane Speedometer, and a set of drag chutes. Not to mention dig out an old Sizzlers California 8 set I had as a kid (esses, speed brake, lap counter).
I see lots of potential for shaking up the host track racing in some of these sets! The cross overs look very promising.

Yeah, I did a review of that web site a few years ago - must have gotten buried in here. Really great pictures all around. I spent hours just going back through his old posts.
