Casting - only the Hot Wheels Baja Bison T5.

Weight Limit: 60 grams (1g allowance over for scale variability)

Weight Distribution and Placement: I highly recommend you distribute the weight as close as possible to 50%/50% front-to-rear weight distribution. Keep the added weight as low as possible.  Placing weight UNDER the chassis is acceptable, but must be painted black.

Paint and other accessories: Please take your time and really make your entry look stunning! Please avoid hand painted numbers. Please no dystopia themes with guns and bazooka launchers. I'll do that in a future tournament. This is a rallycross baja event. You can add a flag or other baja-style details that are appropriate for an endurance race. Please no offensive graphics or images (ex. bikini girls).

• 3.25in. long x 1.5in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 1 entry per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Dry lube only
• Please note: The only eligible casting is the Hot Wheels Baja Bison T5

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host by 4/30/2024. Racing is scheduled in May. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Include at least $6.00 for return shipping in the USA if you want your entry back ($15 for Canada and Europe, $20 for Australia).

Race format and scoring

24 available entries + 2 alternate spots in case someone drops out
6 group races: top 2 move on + top 2 3rd place finishers
Sweet 16: winner moves on
Final 4

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
