HalfFast Hearse and Diesel Duty

EconoCarl Wednesday, 12/7/2011

Picked these up yesterday after noticing that the wheelbase of the '59 Caddy Hearse funny car and Diesel Duty were nearly the same.
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

With a little work I came up with this:
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox
What color should I paint it?

Then decided to clean up the lines of truck and give it a tonneau cover:
Diecast Cars, Hot Wheels, Matchbox

Thanks Jason, both of these are a work in progress. Still trying to figure out how to attach the body to the chassis on the HalfFast Hearse!

try using some alum tubing. Attach it to the body just above the rivet hole in the base and then just screw them together as you normally would. Just make sure the tubing is securely attached. Some of the weighted cars really take a beating at the end of the track.

I try to use screws on all of my race cars. It makes it much easier when maintenance times comes.
