I didn't. It didn't interfere with the wheels so I figured "battle scar". Sorry I didn't touch up any paint chips either, on any of the cars.
The only damage any cars suffered during the California racing.
#12 Engine came out at the finish line. I JB Welded it back in.
Also one of the cars lost it's radiator and headlights assembly yesterday. I knew it was one of Smitty Built cars, but couldn't figure out which one. Today through deduction I figured out it belonged to #10. I JB Welded it back in, but there wasn't a lot for it to hold onto.
No other obvious damage to any of the other cars.

Yes, I live about an hour north of Yosemite. I try to get there a couple times a year. My wife and I just went about two weeks ago as a matter of fact.
I customized the van rental about a month ago. That thing is a monster. 100 grams. When I went to run the final 8 cars of the first bracket...Power Rockets team is short one car... so when I pulled out the rental that was in the box of cars I found out that the front axle was too bent up and unusable. I just grabbed the van to plug a hole in the brackets. I had no idea that it would do so well. So, to not skew the results, I'm going to send the van to join the Power Rocket team until they get a replacement. Then the van can be a rental again, or whatever.
I meant to put up a Tastelikedirt Raceway diagram. It's a 24 foot track. The starting line is 4 ft. high. 8 ft. incline, 16 ft. straight away. The floor is also sloped, so even the straight away is going downhill slightly.

Wow, lots of great mods in there. Maybe next time the rules should say you can only use a body type once within your team of cars.

I learned a lot of things by seeing the cars in person. The photos don't tell half the story.
Here's the track. I added some pieces of carpet under there after the photo was taken. The cars were remarkable well behaved though, hardly any track jumpers or craziness.

The van did take a shot in the fender, but it adds character, so I never fixed it. That's it's style... don't "fix" it!
