NICE!
I'm guessing you have the racers on the Left Coast now, huh?

They were supposed to be here yesterday or today, but still no sign of them. I'm Really hoping they make it by tomorrow.

VERY NICE.... AND COME ON PONY EXPRESS....

Awesome poster!

Cars have arrived and there's going to be some racing going on Sunday!

OK! Race completed Sunday. I'll send the results to Jason tonight. I'll try to get a few photos posted by Monday.

I know that this is a deep subject; WELL?

Well, I just got the Brackets/Flow Charts from Jason and it looks like I've got some more racing to do Monday.

When I unpacked the cars I rolled each one of them to check them for race condition or any damage/problems.

#45 Had the chassis coming apart from the body. The JB Weld was not sticking to the plastic base. I fixed it. Interestingly the base snaps on and off pretty well due to the JB Weld build up. (It came apart again during the racing, but still just snaps back together. I wish they all were that easy to fix).

#23 Had the base apart from the body. Same problem as above. I fixed it.

#20 Was the only car that would not roll. Both axles had come un-glued. JB Weld didn't stick to plastic base. I redid it, hoping to get it through the race.

Rental Car - Bent front axle. Unusable.

The wheelie van looks like it took a pretty good shot to the front end corner/fender bumper. I looks like it might have been previously repaired.

All other cars look to be in good condition.

One team has only three cars. I assumed I would just use the "Rental Car" for that team. I then discovered that the rental is damaged. I substituted one of my own custom cars as the rental to fill out the team.

Smittys' cars are especially awesome in person.

Each team for sure has their own style. Very cool to see all the cars in person. I also learned a lot by looking at some of those customs. A lot of different approaches going on.

. . . #20 Was the only car that would not roll. . .

Just my luck, and it's my bestest car! Must be that California air.

Wow, lots of great mods in there. Maybe next time the rules should say you can only use a body type once within your team of cars.

Or a mail-in tournament that limits the class of cars you can use...like you can only use American class cars in your mods. Throw a little more challenge in there that gets people maybe out of their comfort zone. Really test them
