So, I Want To Build My Track With Avoid Spoolheads & Slanman To Pay For Track Piece, So How Much Orange Track Will I Need & How Would I Do it?

How much room do you have? How many lanes do you want? I have a 10' track, 2 lanes. I use six 2' sections for each lane. This gives me a little extra track at both ends. 12 sections total.
Dollar Store track is 2 feet per section, 4 feet of track for $1.25. Best deal I can think of. Good luck.

And if you're OCD like me to where you want to minimize uneven junctions that catch your cars, but a case at a time from dollartree's website. You can have it delivered to your favorite store location for free. Track is extruded through a die and then cut up into sections and then packaged. If you're attentive enough, you can key the track sections together as they were extruded to minimize those protrusions at the junctions. You can take this a step further by watching Scale Racing Channel's video on how to make your own, "Seamless," track. — X2Whiskey

If you desire turns in your track design this could complicate things. Does Mattel even make full racing sets anymore? All I see today are specifically themed play accessories with hardly any space to run the cars

You can get 3d printed curve files from thingiverse and cults3d,they worked great for me.

Depends on the track you want to build? Just a drag strip? As much orange track it takes to fill space. I have 2 tracks. Jungle Falls Racing Complex. One is orange track and open road. The 2nd is mostly orange track. Hotwheel turns don't handle speed very well. But can be utilized. I do have slanman customs for most of my turns.

Glad to help out anyway I can. I enjoy building tracks.

I have had moderate luck with the arrow corners, I wish they were solid road deck, as some cars can get "disrupted" as they go over the holes — dr_dodge

Take a look at my new track just listed: Timber Creek Speedway. I've used standard track from Target and Dollar Tree along with 3d printed fast curves that I sourced from Etsy. Overall length is 20FT. So approx. 22 pieces of mixed length.
