This is a step-by-step guide on how to upload variant car photos into the Fantasy League game. Any league members can upload a photo of their car and it will then appear on within the game on the car's profile page, and also be available to tournament hosts.

This guide makes two assumptions:
1) You're a Fantasy League player (which is different than a forum member)
2) You have photos of your cars - If not, here's a guide

Guide to uploading

1) Use the "Car" link in the main menu to search for and find a car you have a photo for. On the car profile page you'll see a row of variants already added and a button to upload more.

2) On the next screen you'll get all the instructions and requirements for you photo along with an example. PLEASE FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES. Any cars that are deemed "unworthy" and/or do not follow the guidelines and examples will be removed without notice.

3) The next page will search for the car you clicked on. Click on the name from the list.

4) When you click on the car name, the existing collection of variants will be shown. Make sure you're not upload a photo of a variant that already has a photo. There only needs to be one photo of each variant. Assuming your photo is new, click the button to continue with the upload.

5) Use the provided button and select the photo image from your computer. It should exist as a JPG image. Then click the blue upload button.

6) Upon uploading, your photo will be resized and cropped to match the needs of the game. Your variant photo will then be shown in comparison to an "official" photo of the same car. Make sure the position, brightness and clarity of your photo comes close to that of the example. They don't have to be perfect but yours should be close. If it looks good, click the blue button to finish, OR click the red button to cancel if you don't like what you see.

THAT'S IT! You've successfully added your variant to the collection and your photo will appear within the game immediately. Please note that all upload photos are checked regularly and if you photos are incorrect or of poor quality, they will be removed without notice. If you choose to be a jerk and upload non-car photos and abuse the sytem, your Redline Derby account will be terminated and you will be banned.

If you have any questions about the process or have any problems, please post to this thread or send me a PM immediately.

Is there any way to delete or re-upload photos you've posted?
(for example, if you manage to take a better picture later on)

Yea, don't know how I did it, but a few cars posted double.

Right there is no way to delete photos and for the immediate future there won't be. It's one thing to ask the public to provide content, it's another to ask them to curate it. I'll be reviewing uploads as they come in and will do my best to delete duplicates while also picking the best photos. So even if the car you have is already uploaded, go ahead and upload a new photo anyway. If I see a later photo is better than an older photo, I'll make that call and replace photos accordingly. I don't want to make it a photo competition but we all want the best photos in the game.

So that's that...but this feature is also brand new so there will be changes coming as I get feedback like this, so please keep using things and submit your reports.
