As per a member here.

ordered off of the death star (amazon) deliver friday night

nope,

ran today, office depot, saved $60, too

a real pain  the finally get everything talking, and finally printing

printed my first sheet, and wow, the detail is amazing

2 coats of clear, as suggested, and the first test pilot went amazing

paid $99 for it, but with a replacement set of ink, and some fresh paper,

OTD for <$200, and had the decal paper already

The 8025 didn't work out? Confused

  • 8015e was what I thought was suggested, but it seems the 8010-8025 are the same unit, 8015 does not fax — dr_dodge
  • and the 8015 was only $100 same print specs — dr_dodge
  • Well if it’s cheaper but works just as good i’m happy for ya — ConMan_Customs
  • love it so far, thanks for the advice, and tips — dr_dodge

I'll be interested to see how they last long term. I had some decals that looked great for about a month or so then all the print slowly started bleeding into itself. Was proper waterslide decal paper as well

  • I have a couple that are over a year old now... some have faded a bit while at a long term recurring track event and some are just fine. I didn't take notes on which printer or ink supplier I used so I cannot look back and see why some did and some didn't. Now that I know there may be an issue, I'll record that. But, to be fair, I never consider any of these race cars as long term builds... If I wanted them to be restos or mods for posterity, I would buy some properly screen printed decals. — Stoopid_Fish_Racing
