So with only three 1/100ths of a second separating the top 16 cars, how cool would a just for fun bracket race be while waiting for the next event? Just sayin....

CCR, first things first...NEVER apologize for a Die cast racing video! Both were great! and I know what kind of time and effort that it takes to pull off. AWESOME work hosting, your track is really fantastic, looks the part and stops them safe.
Wow! That was a ton of downhill action. JL Challengers, Vans, HW Funny cars...and even the famed BWF Camaro... stiff competiton indeed... there was a lot of very tight racing. Seeing them in slo mo lets you see how the cars react to the track, transition, everything...really top notch work!
Great to see the father/son battle with Rally Case and Weber Cabin back in the mix...
So I saw this screen pop up a lot during the race, but this screen shot was of the fastest time and new track record. Way to go TE.

By the way, I realized I hadn't let everybody know the date for the July race, which is the 4 car team race. It will be July 11th. If you didn't get any cars in for the last race but would still like to race - no problem. Join in. You may be a bit behind in the team standings, but no worries, there is still a lot of racing to go!

CCR--do you have any videos of the Baja Track in action yet? I'm still not sure what I'm going to send in, so I'm curious to see how cars do on it (partly to save on shipping, since I know I have to get at least two more cars out for July).
A couple of things. First, we are two weeks out from the next race in the series. It is the 4 car team race, so if you don't have 4 cars sent in yet, get them to me as soon as you can. Remember, you only get 6 total cars to enter so choose wisely. After this race you will have entered 4 cars so you'll have 2 more left that you can add to your team with the open road track, Dukes of Hazzard track and Baja track still left to go. If you didn't get any cars in for the last race but would still like to participate in the rest of the races - no problem. Send in some cars and lets get you racing!
Second, with the top 16 cars being so close in the last race that was based on time, it was suggested that I do a 16 car bracket for fun. So I set up a grudge bracket for the top sixteen cars in the last race. You can check out the bracket here. http://challonge.com/HWRLSweet16 It was seeded according to how the cars finished in the last race.
And just for more fun, you can make predictions on the bracket. Get your predictions in over the next couple of days...shall we say by Tuesday night/Wednesday morningish so we can see some races on Wednesday or Thursday.

As requested, here is some video of the baja track. I shot it this morning on my phone before work so it's not great footage and terrible lighting, but should give you an idea what it will be like. Still got some work to do and some adjustments to make (especially on the turns) but it should be fun!
