Interview Questions - For DRN Blog

Hi All,

I will be busy trawling around trying to find news items and putting the future episodes together and I don't want to miss out getting interviews scheduled for the blog. We do have on in the pipeline for next week.

These will be articles, not interviews via the show and just an insight into personalities within the diecast racing community.

I have had a think and I am going to reignite my Quick 10 With series for the interviews. I used to do this in motor racing, but will change the questions up a bit. Here are a few examples of that format when I interviewed people:

Mario Andretti

Neel Jani (WEC Champion)

Carl Fogarty

Matt Neal (BTCC)

What I am thinking is a mix of diecast and motor racing 50/50

Quick intro about yourself, your "racing name" and area based.

1. How did you get involved and how long have you been involved in diecast racing and do you just race or host as well?

2. What is your favourite diecast racing series/league or event?

3. Do you have a favourite diecast racing personality or team?

4. In your current collection of diecast cars what is your favourite?

5. What diecast events have you entered recently?

6. What is your favourite racing series or race in the real world of motor racing?

7. Who are your top 3 favourite racing drivers of all-time?

8. What is your favourite racing circuit?

9. You are the Team Principal of a ficitional racing team and you are going to the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Which engine supplier would you use and which 3 CURRENT racing drivers would you put in your car for the 24 hours.

10. If you could invite 4 famous people, living or dead, to a dinner party who would you invite and why?

Additional:

Send any photos regarding cars or your track etc, anything to support the above questions

And if you have won any leagues/tournaments in the diecast world, list them so I can put them at the end of the interview. In this kind of format:

2022 - World Diecast Champion

2023 - European Diecast Runner-Up

etc, etc.
