Picked up another Moon Eyes 8 Crate at lunch today then went home and fiddled with it!

It was actually a simple mod using a modified front clip from a late Camaro and front runners off a Mad Fast.

Gasser class! I like it. I've got a fleet of them ready to run!

Uh oh, I better start stocking up on Willys.

Where do you get the headers?

You need to notch the bottom of the chassis and put the wheels there, gotta get more nosebleed action!

Anybody know which castings have the headers collector coming out behind the front wheel?

Kinda like this guy here.

I use the Passin' Gasser chassis for all of my gassers.

as an intro to gravitational gastrightis, snip [dykes] the front axle and pull out both halves, with a "new hacksaw blade" [more set ] saw a notch under and just behind the stock front axle, [directly under the axle makes the base too thin] ...
drill and deburr a small hole close to the new axle placement,[ J.B. WELD rivit ],
you need not disassemble the car to make it a GASSER....
for any younger racers... in the late '50's early '60's "fuel" [nitro-methane, ETC.] was banned and most cars had to run straight gas...
that's where the name GASSERS came from... my NOSE BLEEDS are ready

Althought this one does have an altered wheelbase too.

nice ones carl...now your cookin' with GAS ... wheel base change was in 1964... end of the line for most flathead v-8 bodied drag cars... mustangs, cudas, camaros were the future
