Jaguar D Type... Finless '54

I picked up a nice lot of D-Type Jaguars. Always a fan! I was looking to send one off to a posted race I saw... but I can no longer find that race listed... anyway! I took the worst of the lot and stripped it and chopped off the fin. Looks pretty in NMF, but it will end up either in black or Silver/Grey. Hopefully I can find a race for it somewhere!

That looks too nice to cover in paint. At most, I'd throw some numbers on it, clear coat it, and call it good. Nice conversion and polishing.
- it would look nice like that, too — dr_dodge
- thanks... waiting on some decal numbers... — FredD
- I agree. I never liked that casting because of the colors but good old chrome makes the difference. Find some sweet wheels. — redlinederby
Looks like this one is done! Just waiting on my new body screws and tap... Ended up in chrome upper and NMF lower with a dip in Pledge to seal the detail paint and decals. Made a little driver out of Apoxie Sculpt. Calling him Nigel England...
Pretty slick wheels... keeps rolling off my turntable because it isn't completely flat! lol
Weighs in about 45g.
I like it better like that
