Ok so if hemi's are SO FAST tell me y Ford Mustang GT's are in nascar and NOT hemi's. Oh yeah and btw hemi's have NEVER been and NEVER will be part of nascars 3 premier series. Hemi's are fast, I get that but Fords are quick, agile, reliable, stable, and oh yeah they have one the majority of nascar races this year. That trophy is mine bc im puting fte's graphite and weight. No way im losing a race to a chumpy hemi.

  • I appreciate the banter and back and forth. I'm glad that you will be participating in RLD racing. Good luck. — Mopar_Mafia
  • With respect to NASCAR, I appreciate fans that are passionate about their brands, teams and styles of racing. Unfortunately, NASCAR has become a corporate sport like the NFL. NASCAR has been neutered to a certain extent. The engines are all the same built by 2 or 3 people. The rolling chassis's are all built by 6 or so people. The engines, cars and electronics are all generic with a manufacturers label peeled over it. — Mopar_Mafia

Im taking a A FORD MUSTANG AND A CAMRO ZL1

P.S. hemi is an acronym:

Hemi's

Engines

Might

Implode

  • Nice smacktalk. I listed several legendary racers and race teams. Can you name any legendary Ford racers or Teams? — Mopar_Mafia
  • Wood Brothers, ROUSH, Yates. — NDeavers80
  • John Force. Pretty sure he runs Ford's and falls in the legendary category — NDeavers80

Mark Martin, Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, Kevin Harvick, Kurt Busch, Roush Fenway racing, Stewart Haas Racing: to name a few.

  • Ok, the key word was "legendary." I'll give you Mark Martin and I'll stretch it to Crusty Wallace in NASCAR. — Mopar_Mafia
  • I was looking for legendary Ford Racers, here are some examples: Bob Glidden (already mentioned him), Dyno Don Nicholson, Bill Elliott, Wood Brothers and Parnel Jones. — Mopar_Mafia
  • Richard Petty & Dale Earnhardt are legendary. The guys you mentioned are very average at best, not front runners, not innovators and certainly didn't dominate anyone. — Mopar_Mafia
  • I met Mark when he drove the 8 car — SavageSpeeder
  • You know Richard Petty drove for ford right? The reason Plymouth designed the superbird was to lure him back from ford. — NDeavers80
  • ND80 - yes because Chrysler Exec would not let him drive a Dodge instead of Plymouth — Mopar_Mafia
  • Petty also drove Oldsmobile and later had a long relationship with Pontiac — Mopar_Mafia
  • I might consider Matt Kenseth dominate since NASCAR decided to change the entire points system after he won his championship so that wouldn't happen again. — NDeavers80

Is an fte 05 ford shelby legal? Is an fte plymouth super bird legal

  • Superbird yes...post pic of 05 Shelby — LeagueofSpeed
  • HWR - you wouldn't want to run that Superbird....it's a Mopar — Mopar_Mafia

Y not

What?

  • We are busting your chops young man. Good luck see you in lane 2 — Mopar_Mafia

Lol I just got a hemi at target they look like a beast sorry for trashin' them

  • HWR happy for you. Try it you might like it! FYI, I have an extensive Mustang collection — Mopar_Mafia

So do I and thanx

The Bro-law...Outlaw Racing has reported that he's not pleased with his Vette's performance in Corvette Summer and will be concentrating on making drastic improvements for American Muscle 2...he'll never join FB or any kind of MB or Website...but being Army trained in electronics...he's into building the cars now.

Something interesting to ponder...Tobacco Road is actually still up and I was using it to speed test for D64's racing this month...so, we got out TE's winning Firebird from American Muscle 1 Modified Division and it lost to Speed Force's pink Superbird which it beat in the 1/4 Finals and also lost to the Lady of Speed's 67 Camaro which was the runner-up in American Muscle 1...the track is faster and different now that it's seamless.

The Lady of Speed's 67 Summit Camaro will be a contender once again...count on it.
