Tracks
The first leg of the tournament, both classes will be run on Moonshine Dragstrip at Hot Nuts Diecast Racing. View track profile and specs
The second leg of the tournament, stock Johnny Lightning entries will be run on White Lightning Raceway, and modified entries will be run on Mile High Raceway at Elevation Diecast Racing.

Race format and scoring
This will be a single-elimination tournament for each class, stock & modified. A truck will move on in the bracket and score more points only when it wins a round of racing by recording the best time of two runs. Trucks will alternate lanes between each race.
Point scoring is cumulative for each round and will be as follows:
All round one entries will begin with one point.
Those entries moving on to the second round will score two additional points. (total of 3)
Those entries moving on to the quarterfinals will score three additional points. (total of 6)
Those entries moving on to the semi-finals will score four additional points. (total of 10)
Those entries moving on to the finals will score five additional points. (total of 15)
(End of 16 Truck Bracket)
The winner of the first leg will score six additional points. (total of 21)
(End of 32 Truck Bracket)
This same scoring format for each class will continue in the second leg of the tournament at Elevation Diecast Racing, with the truck that accumulates the most total points in each class after the final race being declared the winner. In the event of a tie in points, there will be a race-off between those entries, with the best time after running 3 out of 5 races will be declared the winner of that class. Race host has final decisions in all races.
Bracket seeding will be according to qualifying round.
Penalties/DNF
Trucks will be given a grace of .99g over the stated weight limits to account for variance in scales.
If a truck fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the truck will not qualify for victory. Offending trucks will still race in round one but will not move on in the bracket or score additional points. Trucks that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during races, will forfeit their matches. Trucks that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Trucks that break during races will not be repaired or replaced.
Prizes
There will be a nice trophy and prize pack given to the winner of each class stock & modified.
Questions & concerns
