List of terms and definitions?
Hi people,
Just learned of this hobby. Sounds like fun and it is neat that, in theory, it is a hobby you can participate in on the cheap.
Is there a glossary of terms and abbreviations somewhere? Not sure what all the acronyms used here mean.

hogged = enlarged wheel wells,
chopped / hammered / slammed = lowered roof line,
channeled = body lowered over the base,
trunkated = roof removed,
5 spoke = the most common wheel for the last 20 years,
JB Quick = 5 minute set-up JB Weld,
JB rivet = hole drilled through the base, under the axle center to help anchor the new axle,

Good call, Finkle. Here are some I see a lot.
"RLD" Shorthand for Redline Derby Racing. Don't ask where the "L" comes from.
"FTE" (Faster Than Ever) A version of mainline Hot Wheels that are labeled as such. These cars have "special" axles plated with nickel that reduce friction, thus making them faster (in theory).
"Drilled rivets" Just means that the car has its original rivets drilled out. Basic mods require you to take your car apart and you can't do that without drilling the rivets.
"HW" Short for Hot Wheels brand
"JL" Short for Johnny Lightning brand
