I'm not sure if Goolz11 will start a new thread, but I just received an email from the C4 club about their next racing event on !!

I spoke w/Goolz11 and I'm going to the C4 club races tomorrow. I've also confirmed the existence of model40fan & EconoCarl's MIA racers. They will be recovered, raced, & returned. (Sorry for the delay, guys ) As for "Team fast cars, no sand-baggin', no semi-final wannabees!

Sorry, Carl....no airborne pork today.

I just returned from MD a few hours ago. Not as big of a turnout this time but I did manage to sell a few cars and I brought home a few new ones as well. I arrived early enough to be able to do some test runs on the 17' 'Expert' drag coarse. After several test match-ups of my own fleet it was clear that my BMW M1(2012 Hot Ones) was the fastest. Goolz11 set up a 16 car bracket in the "run what you brung" class. I entered the Bimmer, a `67 Shelby GT-500(Modern Classics), and a Grand Prix Stocker along with the 4 recovered racers from model40fan & EconoCarl. I must say that Smitty and Carl's modified cars attracted quite a bit of attention before the racing even started. Almost everyone that picked them up was amazed by their immense weight. Carl's modified Cadillac V16 fell victim to my GT-500 in the 1st round. Smitty's "Recon Ronda" custom was both of Smitty's customs, and my Grand Prix Stocker. As the brackets fell, Smitty's cars were matched against each other with 'Recon Ronda' making it to the finals and my Grand Prix barely edged out Carl's truck. The final race between Smitty and me was close, but the heavy custom was just too much for the Stocker. Congrats, model40fan!!

And no worries guys...I'll get your cars shipped back to you this week.

Thats really cool that the top 4 all came from the League racers.

I must say that Smitty's cars were extremely quick on the short coarse. They probably would have taken #1 & #2 if they hadn't faced each other is the semi-finals.
