Mobile editing
I recently changed my phone from iPhone to Samsung.i was using imovie which even without ads was brilliant.now I have android I can't get imovie and what I have found is awful and full of ads.The way round this is to send all videos to my wife's phone, then put sim card in my old phone and use that one for editing and then send across the edited video to my wife, put sim back in new phone and get my wife to send video to me for utube. I would obviously not like to do it this way.what do people suggest,my last phone iPhone 8 the WiFi wouldn't wok so I was using data all the time though of course not on imovie as that is an offline app.

get an iPad... I did the same thing a while back. A samsung clone. Lots of apps but few as good as iphone apps. I got an ipad and used that. It works great and the bigger screen makes it easier to see for these old eyes. Recently ditched the samsung clone and went back to iphone.
- I recently upgraded to an iPad 9th generation. I found mine in market place for $150. It’s a great size, not overly big, yet a great screen size. And, you can use a stylist, make editing so much easier (I have fat fingers). — Midwest_Diecast_Raceway
Will try both thankyou
I use CapCut, it has some ads but not anywhere that blocks functionality. Have it on my phone and PC.
- CapCut is where it’s at! — Crazy_Canuck
- I use CapCut on my phone as well. — Dutch_Clutch_Racing
I do all my editing with CapCut...it's a fantastic app for video editing...my only gripe is that all of the "Paid" features drown out the "Free" features...but the free functionality of the app is still well worth the time

Do you have a Google drive account? You should be able to access Google drive on your old phone through WiFi. Then after editing, save back to Google drive and access for upload from your new phone. The other benefit is you save storage space on your phone and can access previous video clips in the future.
