Mobster Modified Classic HW vs MBX
Next question. I've dug out several potentials for the modified mob car. Just curious which of these IS NOT an eligible contender under the rules?

- I'll go with the '40 Fat Fenderd — Zizzer_Prime
- That wasn't the question, though. — BadWoolRacing
- My opinion.....Way 2 Fast & Evil Twin are dragster and not Mobster cars. — Dutch_Clutch_Racing
- Tip: Don’t use one with enclosed wheels — RLoRacing
- Evil Twin is garbage on the drag strip. Drags way too much. — SpyDude
- Using the cars listed in the outline is a pretty good gauge of what's permitted — ElevationDiecastRac1ng
Voxxer Racing .... first look
- Sweet — Bavarian_Diecast_Racing
- Looking good — ManiacMotorsports
- What do you use to mold around your cars like that? — SpyDude
- That -- is awesome. — Numbskull
- Holy cow! I like it! That looks fast! I got to step up my game! — Zizzer_Prime
- KungPowChicken — ElevationDiecastRac1ng
- Looks like a pinewood derby w/custom wheels at 1st glance; definitely a contender! — D20_Diecast
I'm gonna go with the Riviera, pretty sure I can see Tony Soprano with his shades on and a cigar hopping in a gold Riviera to go do a little business. Bada boom bada bing
Time to get busy

- That's a nice car but it has enclosed wheels. That will slow you down. I'm just trying to help. — Zizzer_Prime
- Zizzer is right: enclosed wheels means the body of the car rubs against the side of the track instead of the wheels, thus slowing the car down. I had a fast little pickup I was planning on sending at one point: it worked well on open track (aka my desktop), but as soon as I put it on a piece of orange track, the body rubbed so badly against the sides that the truck couldn't make it completely down the track. — SpyDude
- This is one that looks good on the shelf! — ElevationDiecastRac1ng
I think I found my mobster mobile

- Cool! — Dutch_Clutch_Racing
- Sweet! Nice pick! — SpyDude
- Like Pickle w/Whitewalls! — D20_Diecast
- That....is a potential killer! — ElevationDiecastRac1ng
Probably get in on the mod event. Havent had much lust for diecast lately. Trying to get back into it.
- Thomas....glad to see you here on RedlineDerby. It's been awhile. Let's get you fired up again! (Hey....how are the peacocks doing? I miss hearing them in the background...lol) — Dutch_Clutch_Racing
- Should be some wild entries — ElevationDiecastRac1ng
Voxxer Racing HRII
I'll send a couple mods if it's still open.
Lesson learned. HR II bent axle, during testing. Plan C car. The Gov'ner.
In with 2 stocks
In for the stock race
My apologies,
I shall have to pull out of this great event/s.
I have had a few issues of late, a real pain in the side, slowing me down and getting behind on things.
My Bugatti build is moving well, but not reaching the times I believe required to be really competitive, and time has me beaten, again.
Thanks
Marc D

Hopefully it isn't just me.....I find the part about stock cars entirely vague. The theme for modified seems pretty straight forward, has to be a mob car.
Is the stock (unmodified) HW & MB also supposed to be mob themed or are any/all castings within the assigned weight class eligible to race?
