Modern Muscle Meltdown
I would like to join if they're still room
- Of course. Just read the rules and happy racing. — FPD_Racing
- Can we customize the cars — Bolo_Brown
- This is a stock race. You can add decals and paint if you want but that doesn’t make them faster. This is a stock race. Mod races will come. — FPD_Racing
KaptainK Racing will send a car or 2 if still room.
Bad Wool Racing will join in the fun!
Bear with me......I'm new to Red Line Racing.
Question.......Is 2000 - 2023 model year in reference to the year of the cars bodystyle or year of the casting?
I am planning on running '67 Mustangs in diecast racing. The Hotwheels cast is actually done in 2010.
Sorry if I'm being stupid but I wanted to verify. I will start shopping for a newer body style Mustang if I need to?
Garth
- Not a bad question and I knew it would be an issue. I tried to explain it in the rules but it’s hard. Not the casting year. The model year of the car. So a 2019 Ford Mustang would work. A 1967 Ford Mustang is older than 2000 so it would not work. It called the MODERN Muscle Meltdown. Thanks for asking. — FPD_Racing
- I was confused about this in some races, NEVER a bad time to contact the host!!! they are always wonderful! — dr_dodge
- if in doubt ask — dr_dodge
Hi FPD, great work on the track mate!
To support your first event on the new track I will (attempt) to find a couple of cars that can be competitive.
As I am already sending a couple for the Winter Nationals (which I need to finish building) is it Ok for me to send these to Flip's?
If I have any issues preventing me from finding/sending, will let you know a mile in advance.
Cheers, CutRock'R - Marc D
Count me in for one please!
Thanks
Congrats for the new track. Bavaria will be pleased to contribute to the first race there!
SteelCity Mafia Racing is in for at least 2.
Put me down for 2!
also, is wheel sanding and dry lube allowed?
- Yes and yes — FPD_Racing
- (put in rules) — dr_dodge
- Why would I put something allowed in the rules? They can sand if they like but they don’t have to. — FPD_Racing
Does casting brand matter? Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Majorette, others?
Another question.....likely dumb but ......I located a MODERN body style car. The tires are black but the wheels/rims are silver. Do I need to paint the rims black to meet qualifications?
- “Rims” can be whatever. Just the “tires” need to be black . — FPD_Racing
- Fantastic! Thanks for your patience with my questions. Put us down for 2 entries. — Dutch_Clutch_Racing
- another silly question are you from holland? — dr_dodge
- Just paying attention to details. Rules and Regulations say - black wheels only. — Dutch_Clutch_Racing

Awesome! In for two!
