Rules & restrictions
- Stock entries only
- 57g maximum weight
- 3.25in. long x 1.5in. tall x 1.25in. wide
- Limit 5 entries per household
- Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed. Wheels may be sanded, but not cones and no wagon wheels.
- Dry lube only
- $1.00 entry fee per car. Half of entry pot goes to the feature winner.
Dates & deadlines
All entries must be received by the host before Sunday, 8/2/2026. Racing is scheduled for Sunday, 8/9/2026. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Include at least $10.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

Race format and scoring
Every car will be run a minimum of 5 times for the heat race position and top 5 for the feature positions.
Bracket seeding will be random.
Penalties/DNF
Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.
If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.
Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

Heat winners receives medals.
Top 5 in feature win trophies.
First place in feature wins half of entry pot.
Discussion
What a day! Since I discovered that Crunch was only ~40mi north of me, I decided to attend and participate. I spent several hours prepping potential entries beforehand understanding Crunch's stock mainline format. I was preparing for a strait drag track only to be surprised by Crunch's open track turn around course. Fortunately, I was prepared with a good portion of my racing collection besides my pre-tuned entries. I just had to rethink my entire gameplan. I arrived early enough to do some pre-race testing and quickly came up with 5 entries.
Torino Stocker, Shoe Box, Lancer EVO FTE, CUL8R FTE, and What 4-2 FTE
All 5 made it through the first round. Only the Torino and CUL8R made it through the 2nd round. Crunch was trying out a double elimination format and, when all was said and done, it came down to G-man's GMS Sol Aire against my CUL8R FTE. The Sol Aire was fast and simply wouldn't allow my CUL8R to break away on the open section. G-man won a well deserved victory.
Kudos to Crunch along with his family and friends for perpetuating a positive racing enviroment. I felt welcome from the beginning and look forward to attending again. Crunch runs an efficient race with common sense rules. It was a pleasure to compete with those in attendance as well as the mail ins. Hoping to do it all again soon!
