Mopar Series Challenger

Dadvball Tuesday, 8/28/2018

Yesterday I picked up the Dodge Charger Drift car and the '70 Dodge Challenger R/T at WalMart. They are both awesome as far as I'm concerned and I apologize for not having pics.  My question is seeing that this is the same Charger casting as the one in the Fast & Furious series I believe why did they label the card as it being a Challenger?   I checked the base but they didn't put the model name on it.

Anyone know what's up with this?

Without seeing them, I personally couldn't tell you...sorry

Dadvball, looks like a misprint. I have about 5 of them and it looks that way. A 70 Charger ain't the same as a 70 Challenger. I am frequently mistaken but usually not on Mopar stuff. just sayin'

  • You're right, they aren't the same. They obviously don't have car guys doing the proof reading. It's a sweet Charger and I had to get one, but it ain't no Challenger. — Dadvball

I got about 5 of the mopar cars last night from Walmart.  I think your taking about the Yellow Car? or maybe its the red one with the big open engine.

  • Just curious if this is the one you’re talking about. If so I’ve read in some buy and sell groups that it’s a misprint and they’ve pulled the run on it till it’s corrected. — 41-14
  • Sweet looking ride though. — 41-14
  • Hope I can find a couple. — 41-14
  • Yes, that's the one. The card says it's a Challenger R/T. — Dadvball

Thanks for the information group
