My cars are as bad as my Canes

Awful win that felt like a loss last night. I always won when I played for the U. (Tennis, not football) Why can't we have a football team again? Whaaaaaaagh! :(
And my 64 impala was so bad at the builders choice MCM race, I may change our team name to Seminoles Racing!

What specifically went down at Red Rock Raceway? Was the butterfly turn unkind to you? Hmmm, Impala. . .if shrouded wheels were in play, well those rarely help
You'll get em next time!
- I blame Pedro, my driver. :) Yes, those rear wheels were bad. Just slow. Beautiful track though, I was happy to be on it. I also got some best in show votes. :) — CanesBart
- Ahhh, "Pedro," now I'm tracking fully. I looked up that 64 Impala on the wiki and things became clearer — Chris_Hood
Yes. Lol, my car didn't do well either. You gotta have pretty small cars to go around the butterfly well.
- Nothing against the host or manufacturer, 3D printed sections can often require careful choice of casting. That butterfly will PUNISH a car with CG too high — Chris_Hood
- Wut Chris said. — Numbskull
- Thanks, Numbskull! Even the upgrades at Race City Japan, the laned first section, are catching flak in the comments and that's Spool Heads product. Hopefully folks will watch closely and adjust their tactics when the gates swing open again for entries at 3DBotMaker — Chris_Hood
- Don't be holding your breath there Chris! But yep fair comments. Yes I still think many #D turns need some more design work, but they are progressively getting better. — CutRock_R_Marc_D
It is my favorite car... owned a few... I have done a couple for races but they are generally not competitive. Too narrow. The ones I have found say they are '64 but are really '65 because they have hidden headlights...
my mcm car is a chrysler 300
super low CG

- Yes, well Dusty Miles won MCM's last tournament in that car... — ManiacMotorsports
- It is a good casting. Cheers — CutRock_R_Marc_D
