Nashville convention ticket giveaway
I talked with DiecastSpace.com last night and they were gracious enough to give me 10 pairs of tickets to give away for the Nashville convention in June. I'll be attending and it will be my first convention, and I hope some of you can go so we can meetup in person and enjoy some cars. Hopefully a free set of tickets might add some motivation!
These will be general admission tickets good for all 4 days of the convention, June 16 - 19. Each pair is a $50 value. These are the "Friends and Family" tickets listed on their web site. Doesn't include anything fancy, just gets you in the door...but that's all I'm doing too.

I'll be giving out pairs of tickets during this season of racing through Twitter, Facebook, here in the forums, and through the Fantasy League tournaments, so keep your eyes open for your chances to win.
I know not everyone can go to the convention so if you win the tickets and know you can't make it, please let me know so I can put those tickets back into the pot and try to give them out to another winner. (However, Nashville is a pretty easy drive for many midwest/east people)
I need to thank DiecastSpace.com for the tickets and hope a few folks here at Redline can enjoy the tickets and make it to Nashville. I'm looking forward to going myself and can't wait to put some faces to names. And I might have some freebie things at the convention too, so if you make it there will probably be some swag in it for you

Yeah, I hope to meet up with him and others in Nashville. I'll try to my best to live blog the convention too through the blog and Twitter with photos and stuff.
Brian, If you cant make it to Nashville, there's always Dallas. We'll be there in August.
I'm definitely looking forward to seeing some of you guys at the conventions, we'll have to set up a little meet and greet in one of the rooms. You want to host it in your room Brian? My room is a bad idea as I can get pulled away at any minute.
I'll use some TXDRA dollars to help provide some food or drinks

I'm definitely going to Nashville. Wife was doing some hotel pricing last night. I still need to purchase my ticket but otherwise vacation time has been approved so I'll be there. Nashville is within driving distance so it's not a real big deal.
Not sure about the gathering b/c I don't think I'll be staying at the Sheraton where the convention is hosted. But maybe that doesn't matter? I dunno...I've never done conventions before so I'm not sure how things are setup or run or what expectations are from others.
