Okay brain trust, I need ideas for a fast stock. Has to meet the following rules

Plastic/metal (no metal on metal castings), no lube, no sanding, no weight limit, casting from last 10 years, has to fit 6 lane orange track.

Track looks like an extended six lane.

Any thoughts? Advice?

Ford Model A Custom in Red is possibly my fastest car, even at 29g. Hot Wheengs in the original color is a good choice. And of course, 5-pack cars.

  • Thanks! I have one of those around here — Uncle_Elvis

This car has been historically fast out of the packaging.

  • Good call, thanks — Uncle_Elvis
  • I think every car in that 5 pack is above average — RancidCactus
  • Now I have a new 5 pack to look for, thank you. — alva1370

Pink Corvette, fast. Ferrari, competitive, 69 Chevelle, personal favorite. Honda Oddesy, good car. Xsteam, good wheels and low weight. Aston Martin GT-3, consistently fast. I don’t remember the last one, long, low and fast. EggSpoon car didn’t make the pic but it’s worth a mention.

You can still finds these on the pegs if you’re lucky. I didn’t 100% understand the question, I hope this helps.

  • You just want one? The pink Corvette has been beating all my cars. — alva1370
  • Ohhhhhh, the Honda Odyssey. Nice, thanks — Uncle_Elvis

  • Ringer — alva1370
  • I have about 25 of these. It takes lube to really make them zing — Uncle_Elvis

I would recommend the white/red Double Demon from the 2024 Street Beasts 5-pack. I have two (or maybe three) copies of that pack and there are several fast ones in there.

Mo Stash is also quick out of the pack on my drag track.

Depending if you're allowed them, the new Track Fleet tucks are pretty quick with no lube. This one in particular was knocking out low 3.2s on my track out of the pack - most lubed cars are mid 3.2s on my track.

  • Ha! Already thinking that, but it was not my fastest hauler — Uncle_Elvis

Haven't opened up a slow one yet

  • Thank you — Uncle_Elvis
  • That IS a pretty fast one, especially once you smooth the wheels. — SpyDude

The Fast FeLion is also usually very fast.

Lethal Diesel.
Short Bloc / Long Bloc.

If you can find it, the JL Cadillac Escalade CLUE car runs like it has its tail on fire. 65g, right out of the package. (However, I forget if it is metal-on-metal or not.)

  • 99% positive it is metal on metal. Good idea though — Uncle_Elvis

This is also a new speed demon in the annuals of Hot Wheels

  • I agree. This is one of the fastest cars I have ever run straight out of the package. — ChaseFamilyRacing

I'd probably go with a Silverado EV, a high roller 2 in blue and chrome. or if legal, a color changer EVO.

  • That Colour Shifter Evo is super light, but a good suggestion — Uncle_Elvis

The dark green `29 Ford Pickup from the 2018 Ford Trucks series(Wally exclusive) seem to be consistently quick right out of the package. It's also the only version of that casting that is metal-on-plastic.
