Need idea for storing Racing Champions brand 1/64
Hello.
I just acquired a large sum of NASCAR 1/64 diecast cars. The majority of them are Racing Champions brand. I need a new strategy to store them. I bought one of the new Hot Wheels 100 car cases, which the NASCAR cars are literally 1 millimeter too long for the slots and won’t allow closure of the case.
Does anyone know of a certain model of tackle box or hardware storage case that fits these brand of cars, with preferably 100 or so slots per case?
Thanks!

These are the cases I use for all my cars...Matchbox, Hot Wheels, whatever...and I rarely have a car that doesn't fit. Each side has a double-wide slot for those cases. You might be able to find these in local stores but my hunting usually turns up none and when I find them, they're double the Amazon price.
- I used the cases that RLD posted above for awhile. They are nice but I started using the single sided case from Plano. — Mopar_Mafia
- It is the same cases that 41-14 posted about earlier. The mfgr part number is 5324-30. — Mopar_Mafia
- Prices vary but best price is online. I have purchased from wally world, Grainger and also Zoro. Currently zoro has the best price. — Mopar_Mafia
- I have over 25 of these cases and I have only found one car that has trouble an M2 or Greenlight Olds 442. — Mopar_Mafia

Awesome!
Thanks for the guidance.
Probably worth noting that Amazon has those cases for $8.88 right now, which is much less than they usually are. I typically see them $10-15. And if you have Prime then shipping is free anyway. I ordered 3 last night just in case the price goes up soon.
With all the cases I have, gonna need to rethink my storage situation. My wimpy shelf bracket and boards aren't going to cut it for much longer. Might be a fun summer project...

Plano cases are great for storing hot wheels. Check Walmart. Can’t remember the number of the case but I believe it’s 5324. Michaels also has a double sided Plano case. 24 and 48 cars respectively. Check out the you tube channel. “wtffor”. He has a video of his basement with his collection on display in these cases. Hope this helps.
