New 1/64th dyno on presale

It was inevitable...the diecast dynamometer is being officially marketed.

The Runsible 64 is being offered by Fun Tech Lab, the same folks that make the Windsible desktop wind tunnel. I know nothing about the unit itself, other than what's being offered on their website. It appears to have adjustments for wheelbase and roller RPMs. $30 on presale...could be a useful break-in/lubrication tool, if nothing else.
FWIW: My Windsible purchase experience earlier this year was definately above par so I had no hesitation about placing my pre-order.

Ordered
I ordered 4 for PCDR....lmao
Nifty...long overdue. Few years back I know myself and several folks had been cobbling together various parts to try and make one...using slot car motors and rollers and stuff, but this certainly looks like some proper thought was put into it.
- Very much agree! I made 2-3 prototypes, but nothing nearly as well done as this appears to be! — Tortoiseking
Ordered.
Ok, yah -- lots of praise for the design matching the cost! This looks useful in addition to the style alone, and that it was made with enough forethought so the rig slips into their aero chamber. Nice way to bake in the gothic pixie dust to the axles and hubs
Very cool little machine.
Verry cool!! A bit to late for me. I have a small treadmill with a 3d printed fixation to hold them in place but let them move a bit.
Couldn't order .. kept coming up with a know error code.
EDIT: Cancel that, had to refresh the page, order went through.
oh yes, gonna have to order one of these which I already have done.
Very cool! How does it work?
Break them in the old fashion way...run them down your track and spend $20 on fast castings.
My 2 Cents.
- I agree but this is cool! I've never seen one so I ordered one. — Zizzer_Prime
- This assumes you actually HAVE a track to run them on. My testing area is the 24" in front of my keyboard on my desk. — SpyDude
- While I agree, not everyone has a track (hi) — KittermanSpeedShop
cool... at this price point I predict it will be standard kit for all builders!
