Which 2019/2020 Hot Wheels are fast?
I've been looking around in different places for fast downhill drag cars that are made in 2019 and 2020. The best castings I've found are the yellow lancer evolution from the rally racing series and the orange jaguar from the exotic series. If anyone has found some consistently fast castings from the last two years, let it be known so everyone can look for some cars at target , Walmart , and dollar general instead of paying out the nose for fast older cars.

The pink indy 500 oval is not blistering fast but consistently above average. We will have a video with it in the coming weeks over on the STUFF 'N MORE HOTWHEELS YT channel. I believe it was produced in 2019.

The Speed Index has falling off drastically since 2013...you could find a lot more Speed spread out across casting designs up until 2013...after that it appears the QC went south somewhat, with most of the problem being with the wheels themselves...very crappy in the spin department.
I second the 2008 Lancer Evo ADVAN marked one. It just smoked everything on the Tune Trax drag race - 11 out of 12 races. Including FTE's and a GT40
I dont have a single new casting that isnt near worthless outside of the Ipace ID car that I only bought due to Worpex raving about his. Everything else Ive tried has been slower than even the average slow cars I have around. Gonna dust some off one day and see if that changes but straight outta the box...nothing as of yet!

I seem to get lucky with cars performing @ the bottom of the top 15-20 cars of my fastest. gotta lovee amazon.
I see a lot of people saying the Lancer Evo is really fast but I guess I am not having much luck with mine. They run middle of the pack. The Jags are fast though. A few of the newer castings are running very fast at my place on the drag. I think it just varies.
This is nuts!!! I was literally about to make a discussion group for this same exact topic today!!! I concur about the fastest in 2019-2020 thus far. The Jaguar XJ220 (orange) and GT40 are the fastest castings consistently. The others have not been fast, on my track at least. I haven't been able to race the yellow Evo yet, but I'll be on the look out.
