I find those quite ugly, to be honest. Although if that's the route we're going it will be much easier to spot FTEs in the crowd. Still, blek.
YUCK. I loved the old wheels, why change them?
I finally found some of these yesterday while at wallyworld. I picked some up just cuz but I think they might be growing on me a little...still love the old 5 spoke design.
here are my buys from this weekend...finally found an A-Team van...
And yes, I finally broke a promise to myself to only buy mainline $1 cars...but I splurged and picked up a few Hot Ones just to see how fast they might be...
Nice finds Jobe! Last weekend I bought close to 40 new cars from Kmart and Walmart. I picked up a few more Hot Ones too, but haven't taken them out of the package yet. Let me know how well your Hot Ones do. If they're fast, I'll have to free mine up for racing.
Oh noes...looks like those ugly FTE wheels are making their way into the real world!

Original FTE wheels as seen on this official Redline Derby '65 Fastback are so much cooler
that RDR '65 would look good even if it were riding on the hubs... nice one , B.

I can see it now...the car will jump the curb when you try to parallel park it.

LOL! I won't be buying that many FTE2's now that I know that they fail.
Markkaz~ after watching your video, I don't believe I'll be buying any cars w/ FTE2 wheels either.
FTE vs. FTE 2... the DUECE be damned.... long live the king...
woah, crazy. I just picked up the new camaro convertible FTE and stingray concept FTE yesterday
must say, I don't like those as much.
But really, with the FTE's it's really just the axle
