I like that idea. We did that a while back. It can get a little tricky coming up with a car that is available to everybody AND everybody agrees on.

We've seen a lot of older car races, gassers, sedans, ponies, hot rods, fat fenders, so I think it's time we have a race that races more modern cars. (Sorry smitty, I know you like your oldies :) )

How about a 4x4 race? There's quite a few castings with those big knobby tires. Just have to make sure it fits in the track cause some of them are too wide.

hmmmm... looks like a good turnout for the rookies race... how about a series where we run a regular rookies race... the top [2 or 4] finishers will have earned their way into the veterans race... just spitballin'

Hey Smitty,

I'm running the Rookie Race the same weekend as the Middleweight race...and I was thinking of having the top 4 or maybe the top 8 (depends on the numbers) Rookie cars go into the Middleweight race to see how they do!

A lot will depend on the turnout for the races, but it might be cool!
