New track ideas
So my son and I have gone from one lane to two lanes to Crashers track to this 60 foot current track. Obviously ongoing and unfinished. This summer I'm going to do a whole new track and am looking some advice from the "experts".
The only thing I'm set on is a four lane start and it'll start on the far corner of the garage.
Any advice, tips, ideas and general pointing in
the right direction would be awesome!

Long Straights for passing, looks good for open course.
1 1/2" to 2" drop per foot can be Variable from the ups and downs of the Track.
Test,Test, Test! A car can make it down Hairy Man Mountain run at a Whopping 14 Seconds ( Slow as Slug Bait ) Or Fast as 8.01 Seconds Laid down by R_Lo.
Use Stock and Modded cars for Minor adjusting and Tweaking for Top Performance with Both Classes of Cars. Guard Rails are a Great addition, A soft Substrate in case cars decide to Fly off track.

Been busy but this summer we did a tear down and I've been working on and off on this since. Meant to take some pics during the build but really didn't. Decide tonight to snap some shots as I'm finally getting close.
Still work to do but four lanes switch to a dangerous "two" and then on down the mountain.
Again, I suck at art but making the rock facing is really quite fun and relaxing. My son came out last week and said "these rock are really sigma". I'll take it.

As far as direction goes, start by clearing the space you want for the track, and then put a tape line down around the parimiter. I like to put tape up every foot running across to make measuring by eye a little easer. Besides that, what ever you come up with will look great!
