Track

Racing will be on the Power-Up Pass. View track profile and specs

A total of 97 feet of track with a total of 1550° of turning. The track is split up with 41 feet of dual lane track with a total of 450° of turning. The rest of the track is 56 feet of open track starting off with a MASSIVE 450° turn around a lava lamp followed by an addition 650° of turns. At the water fall there are two bumps called the Blooper Bouncers which may throw your character right off the edge!

Check out the track at www.youtube.com/c/ABCAllredFamily

Race format and scoring

Cars will race in heats of 4 racers where the top two in points (after 4 races), moves on to the next round. Cars will alternate lanes between each race.

A point is scored as follows:

1st -  5pts
2nd - 3pts
3rd - 2pts
4th - 1pt
DNF - 0 pts

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be random.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

Great looking track! Very creative!

  • Thank You! Been slowly working on this for a couple years now...finally felt it was worth posting on Redline! — ABC_Allred_Family
  • I don't have any vehicles that fit the bill.....looking forward to the next race though! — Dutch_Clutch_Racing
  • @Dutch same — ManiacMotorsports

Looks like a lot of effort went into this track. When you say "only the lucky will cross the line ". What does that mean? I don't like relying on luck as a rule. Is this competitive racing or is your main goal YT content? Have you ever had a serious modified car on this track or have you just been running stock cars on it? Most don't realize how fast a 70g car from an experienced builder could be. I'd suggest seeing if you can obtain something fast for a gauge.

  • Hey! Big fan! Love seeing your cars tear it up on Pikes Peak!! As for this track, I'm getting things started. It has been a long time goal to get a track going. I do post on YT (but it is for different videos). This I'm just doing as a new hobby that I'm hoping to get started. By "Only the Lucky will cross the line" that was an AI generated quote that I just thought was funny. At the very end of the track there is a double bump that can make that second to last turn challenging, which is probably where the AI exaggerated. I have mostly done stock. I have put weight on one car (I believe it was 55g). I've been working a lot with EP who has been giving me a ton of pointers and tips along the way. I'd love to host you sometime! — ABC_Allred_Family
  • I'm working on a video that shows a stock car going through it. So you can see what that looks like. I'm hoping to have it posted by today or tomorrow. — ABC_Allred_Family
  • Great to see you giving it a shot at hosting. I’d like to join someday. This particular race and casting may not be for me though. I’ll be watching — BlueLineRacing
  • In the words of Lloyd Christmas from Dumb and Dumber... "So your telling me there's a chance...YYYAAAAHHH!!!" — ABC_Allred_Family
  • Thanks for the feedback on this. ChaseFamilyRacing sent a few cars my way which have been very helpful with modifying the track to accommodate heavier cars. It previously was designed more for the stock 30-40g cars. Now its doing really well with the 50-65s....70s are still a little sketchy. But Spool Heads has a turn I'm trying out that really helps with those high speed turns. — ABC_Allred_Family

I ll enter this one and send 2 entries. And when you say, Mario kart themed cars, you mean specifically, Mario kart cars, and not regular cars like Mustangs and Camaros with a Mario kart theme on them, right?

  • Awesome! Can't wait to see what you create! I'm fine with whatever you send. I've had some fun putting Luigi in a NON-Mario Kart car for one of my previous videos. So as long as there is a character in that car...that would be great! Any thoughts on how I can word that better? — ABC_Allred_Family
  • It all makes sense now as I re-read it. — ChaseFamilyRacing

I give it a go...by modified...does anything go aside from putty? I've got a "Shy Guy" who could use a little customization

  • What's UP! Big fan! I love watching your cars compete! Anything goes...except Putty. Can't wait to see what you create! Thanks for racing!! — ABC_Allred_Family

In.

  • Hahaha! Awesome! I'm hopeful this will be a pretty fun track. — ABC_Allred_Family

Would love to try and build outside of what i am used to..  Never built a car to have a character in it..  Count me in if still avaiable.

Thanks ROADRAGE RACING

  • Can't wait to see what you come up with. I'm planning on going into some normal cars soon. But Mario Kart Hot Wheels is what got me all started on the Diecast Racing thing. So I only saw it fitting to start racing with them — ABC_Allred_Family
  • I can tell you this that Luigi will be driving a gt500. dont know how it will do but it will look good.. LOL ! Thank you — RoadrageRacing

That's some hard work you've put in there (and quite a few bucks as well). Looks great. I'm going to have to pass on this for now, but I would love to see how a longer wheelbase modified car would do on this track. Something around 60 grams I'm thinking. Again, great job on the track build and I hope you have a successful first mail in tournament!

  • I'm planning on hosting several different races in the future. Mario Kart Hot Wheels is what got me started on this whole Diecast racing experience, so I really wanted to start with them first. — ABC_Allred_Family
  • Oh, absolutely! I would definitely do the same. I do have a car that I'm working on for a race that I've decided I'm not participating in that I'm happy to send to you as a house car. Some guys with tracks like having "cars in residence" from racers just to have around and run whenever they feel like. It will end up being right around 70 grams and you're more than welcome to have it for running/testing. Should be a screamer. — RayRaySugar
  • Sweet. That would be awesome. — ABC_Allred_Family
