PVC Video camera stand
DETERMINE WHERE YOUR TAPPED HOLE IS UNDER YOUR CAMERA...SET UP THE PVC SO GRAVITY KEEPS THE CAMERA STEADY INSTEAD OF TIPPING OVER... I PUT 2 T's AT THE LEADING EDGE TO HELP STEADY IT...
I DON'T GLUE ANY PVC JOINTS, THEY FIT TIGHT ENOUGH TO STAY WHERE YOU SET THEM... ALSO LETS THE LEG SWING UNDER THE UNIT FOR EASY STORAGE...
DRILL A HOLE THE SIZE THAT A SCREW / BOLT THAT FITS THE CAMERA'S THREADED MOUNTING HOLE WILL SLIDE THROUGH IN A PVC CAP, I PUT JAM NUTS UNDER AND ON TOP OF THE CAP... LEAVE 4 OR 5 THREADS EXPOSED ;
STAND TILTED DOWN FOR HOT WHEELS RACING ACTION ;
THIS PVC STAND COSTS ABOUT $4.00 ... JUST ADD CAMERA SKILLS.

Nice work!
Genius! What size screw do you use? Those are a standard size, I assume...

...
Samsung video camera ;
I used 1/4"- 20 std.... does fit slightly loose.... threads may be an equivalent metric thread size so that it fits US. and foreign cameras...
also fits my Nikon coolshots...

serendipity strikes, this may work to keep my still camera steady while inside the picture box, [couldn't get close enough with my tri-pod]... hmmmm.
Smitty, how are your videos turning out?
haven't tried one yet... racing fri., sat., sun...
1/4-20 is just about standard for any camera that has been made since...before most of us were born.
You could get a mini ball mount, and swing that thing all over the place.
