Race ideas
Heavy Chevys: Tri-year Chevrolet castings ('55-'57), includes gasser castings.
No Fenders: open wheel castings like the '32 Ford.
Bug Bash: because I like old-school VW's. Nothing modern, gotta be a Bug, but can be the 'rat rod' custom VW Bug with no fenders, too.
Got Wood?: show some love for those woodie wagons! (Surf Crate 'wood' be acceptable as an entry.)
Once I have my track finished in the basement (felt I had to tear down the track in the shed due to the heat and cold conditions here in Maine) I am giong to do a "Pinks" series...low budget and dumb as hell cause I have no video editing or commentary experience hahahahahahaha...where two race teams get in contact with each other and have me run their cars against each other. Winner keeps both cars.
- Wow ....... that's a hell of a track. Nice work. — SpyDude
- I really like the pink slip format. If I ever started hosting races that’s what I would do. — alva1370
- I love the Pinks Concept. I'd be happy to collaborate with you on that after my No Time Kings event wraps up. — Zamak_Speed_Shop
SUV Supreme. SUV's are out selling cars in the automotive industry, how about an all SUV diecast race?
block cars (lego stuff)
4 man team on the car
extra blocks allowed
men at the end of the run left on the car are x pts, or
a multiplier
magnets allowed. as the stuff/dimembered lego people included, comes off,
those get added to the cars that advance in order of falling off other cars
finals the cars would be pretty funny
in the words of mr t
"pity da host ta do this"
those stupid great voices...lol
so many great ideas, so little time!!!
thanks to all!!!!

Red Baron race would be cool and nostalgic.
A race featuring the "Alien" casting, as they're faster than you think
Rockabilly Rumble, using '50's and '60's cars.
How about a '80s and '90s JDM tournament?
How about 30 grams and under?
- That would be fun! I never can get enough weight into my cars lol — ManiacMotorsports
- I don't think I've seen a 30g and under stock races here. — Zizzer_Prime
- If you combine a Color Racers top with a plastic undercarriage, you can get some pretty light racers. I did that for a body swap on an Evo. — SpyDude
- SpyDude - I love doing Color Shifter chassis swaps. It is a great way to make Metal/Metal cars out of ones not available that way. — BadWoolRacing
There are some different ideas here that I like!
im planning on running a Creature Feature Invitational for a small Halloween Tournament...and a couple of other ideas mentioned are in my list of ideas to explore.
however, an idea that's come to me from reading through would be an "Icons Race". This would be castings that would have come from the Hot Wheels Design Lab ie. TwinMill, Deora2, Sillouette, Double Vision, etc...sooooo many that could be in that list!
then building on that idea: what about a "Legends Race"...any car that has won the Hot Wheels Legends Tour and been made into a casting.
the "Sugar Rush" could be a tip of the Touque to Wreck-it-Ralph (or Candy Mountain from Tiny TrackCars) and only the desert castings like the Donut Drifter, piece of cake car, jello car, used...this could also make for a pretty "sweet" multi track series...
so many ideas...keep'em coming fellas
