Racing same car in multiple races
Good afternoon folks and happy Tuesday! I am new here and working on a few cars for some of the upcoming races. Do you guys one race your cars or do you race them again if they fit the rules of another race you are wanting to enter? I am having a blast tweaking and working on these cars making them my own. Was just wondering about that. Some of the things you ponder during the day LOL!

I have, mainly because I may not have time to build a car,
but if I have one that raced ok, I'll enter a race I wouldn't have
I also sent a team to Junkyard Joust a team (5) of pre raced cars that did crappy
kinda satisfying to see them get another run on camera again after a 1 and done
my 120g boneshaker ran 1 race at mako's, then did the multitrack race
that guy was so beaten up after flying off 4 different tracks...lol

I have multiple builds currently at other tracks for their second, and in one case, third tournament. Good opportunity to reuse and recycle while honing your tuning skills to see if you can improve a build.

I have several individual castings that have raced in multiple mail-ins as well as in-person club races.
If it did ok it can race again. Maybe with a new lick of paint so it looks fresh. However I am more likely to scavenge good wheels for my next build.
I'm sure most builders will recycle rides...I've done it a few times...especially if the car really had a crappy showing first out.

I'm slowly building out a team of multiple castings of the same cars, goal is to have them all identical in look/weight, so that I can send the "same" car to multiple races (as well as have backups). Does that count?
- Generally, this is about running "already raced" cars at multiple tracks, but whatthehell, whatever works. I usually use the same car at least twice, three times, at various tracks--I mean, it's already built, and it fits the race specs, so ..... — SpyDude

I do, some cars do better on certain tracks. My GT Car at GTR did sadly, but it tears my track up, definitely will race at another venue.
- Yep. Example - My Group B rally car that raced at your track and 3 others... Totally laid an egg on your track, but is now racing at Maniac's rallycross and broke the track record twice. All I did was change lube and weight distribution. — FeralPatrick

Almost always one and done. Mainly because I do not pay return shipping. It is more cost efficient to make a new build each time
I have tried it several times... my cars aren't that great to start with.
No cars that I tried to improve by more sanding, buffing and lube got better.
No cars that that got new wheels got any better... So I started giving them to my grand niece/nephew. Some day I'll figure it out... or not!

If I have a fast car (which is a rare occurrence for me) I might race it in more than one tournament.
