How do you do rankings?

I'm curious,  how does everybody do their ranks. Strictly by time? By weight? And if by weight, 29.99g and under, 30 to 30.99, 40 to 40.99...etc.

Great question, I’m kind of curious myself. I’ve always liked house rules. You built the track, your rules.

I guess it would depend on the type of track.

For drag strips, I would think weight would make the most sense.

For road-course style or rally-cross style, I would say Stock vs Modified.

If on a drag strip, I look to both Commotion Crew & Elevation Diecast where rankings are concerned. Pretty discrete classes of weight separated by 10g increments

Weight alone doesn't make a racer great, it is simply too important an aspect to dismiss.

If on an open track, rank by times as well as keeping records separate, stock v modified

Just a fan's opinion
