Built the 32, using everything I learned from Smitty. Gov'nor White walls, 32 ford chassis and body trimmed, Dragster Engine, and A-OK grill & fuel cell. Just for show, no plans to race this one.

And Finally spent a good portion of the day bringing this 2002 DK General Lee 24 back into riding condition. Crank set was missing critical parts, had some from another bike and fixed it. Trued the rims, lubed & adjusted the hubs, Headset and bearings are kinda toasty, but good enough for a ride today with Fishtail. 60F in Michigan today...65 tomorrow. Fishtail's Blacked out bike is a Redline Rival 20.

Delta6, yup the General is a 24in cruiser... roomier than the 20in. I seem to ride it like I'm 14 again.
Scored this last summer, restored it some... and I got hooked all over again. I love bikes, they are mechanical..and can be fixed.. and tinkered with. The new store bought bikes are crap (for the most part). older 90's bikes still had a bit of soul.

I agree. The better bikes now are being put out by smaller shops, welding frames inside the US, and are extremely expensive. Prompted by your post, I looked up a saaaaaweet We The People cruiser. Complete @ $700!
Larger frame on the DK General looks like a "cruiser". I used to have one. I used to ride dirt jumps & park about 10 years ago. Cruiser really is a nice comfy frame when one feels as if he's outgrown a regular BMX frame. Nice job, and thanks for bringing back some memories TE!
