Made a completely Rando stop at a garage sale with a lot of kids stuff out front. They had already sold a shoebox of cars to somebody for 20 bucks. But these two got overlooked somehow. Picked them up for a buck and a half each

  • You did good. Considering the price the other ones got, you probably could have squeezed it lower. But hey, you got a good deal no matter how you look at it. — Justin_Thyme

In the words of Ric Flair, "WWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"

My local Wal-Mart got some new cars in. Got one to race and one for the case. Ebay can suck it.

Yeah I found these cars about a month ago when someplace was closing out and had an ad on Facebook or it might've been TikTok. All I knew is they had a lot of nice retro stuff which I am apt to obtain. I couldn't pass up the five pack with a Chevy nomad And of course the woody. Also couldn't pass up the bread truck, which is metal metal and I needed another Thunderbird obviously. And I added the Studebaker just a round it up.

the five pack is from 1998 and I got it for the sum of $7.50.

Okay, I have never been to a Dollar General before.  We have a Dollar Tree in my town (2 of them), but no Dollar General.  I had to drive by this new store yesterday when I picked up some lumber, and I didn't walk away empty handed. :-)

Couldn't believe I picked up quite an assortment of cars.  Now these cars of no special consequence or anything, but I wanted to get a few cars so I know I have them for the future events some may hold.  I got Trucks, 4x4's, Imsa/GT type cars, Indy car, convertible, fantasy cars, muscle cars, and some that I thought looked cool or distinct that I would like to have.

So now when someone announces a race using XYZ type of car, I might have one fresh in my mind.  I know I still need to go through the 300 still in the chest, but until I do, I don't want to miss out on learning how to modify a car for a certain race, by not having a car to start with.  These will be nice to have for anything I want to try with.

Thank you all in these forums who post, and to our webmaster for bringing the articles in a nice format to read and re-read on things new to me.  All of these things are very helpful.

  • watching for good wheels is also on the list for me. I buy any sushi tuner I see for it's wheels, the cars in the packages watch and each await their fate quietly screaming upon the deaf ear of a car builder...evil lol — dr_dodge
  • I weighted down a sushi tuner, good car. — alva1370

Not a find but I saw this online and took a screenshot. 2026 maybe??

Wally world finally restocked. Especially excited about the El Segundo Rally.

  • I'm looking for the Jag and the Porsche. The new release 928S looks like a better model of the car, but a P-928 on BW wheels is one of my favorite all time castings. — Ruckus_Racing
  • I don’t think I ever seen a 928 casting. That’s a good one. — alva1370
  • It's a brand new casting I think. — ManiacMotorsports
  • New for 2025, yup — alva1370
