What cars have you found lately?
Never heard of this car before, looks cool.

- I would love to see one of these actually 'go'. I mean there are no batteries, and we are assuming a gravity start, yet it still has mechanical motion to do over 500 mph? Wonder why it didn't make a bigger splash. — RacerGnome
- Actually, it probably has to do with 500 mph in 'scale' by distance. — RacerGnome
- It says “pull-back” car, I’d like to see one too. — alva1370
- I had a dune buggy version of the Darda. Was fun until it broke. Seemed pretty good for a pull back car. I probably broke the spring in it. — Object52

Ok here is a little unboxing video on a fresh car straight from our overlords at Mattel. It's purdy
Nothing too exciting but they are all new to me. Almost all on the same peg.

Missing a chunk of roof

There's this second hand store I go to. They have a section of Hot Wheels.

Today these ones followed me home. Not bad for under 20 bucks.

not 1/64 but equipment cross scales well, and I love heavy equipment
these were hard to find, and got up to $45 (too much)
HEB had this and 3 others for $13. and it does run down orange track.
you may want to chain down the loader, though
cab is 40 grams treaded plastic tires
excavator does not roll 68 grams, bucket/boom move and swivels
tracks are cast into base
trailer is plastic
- That is nice. Wouldn't look of of place on a railroad set either. — Justin_Thyme
- 1/87 (HO) works wonderful in the background to give depth to a 1/64 scene — dr_dodge

Was surprised to see an Ultra Hots shipper in a Kroger(Ra Sungod poined out that they started selling them after Target switched to The Hot Ones). Also, premium on markdown! Cheaper than what a single Ultra Hot would cost, funnily enough.
- good score — dr_dodge
- Been looking for the starlet — ManiacMotorsports
- The gold Ford Escort wins a lot of races on my track. — alva1370
I was mentioning to my step-dad a few weeks ago about the track I am putting together, and the various cars I have purchased; and he had some information for me. He still has some die cast cars in the spare bedroom, and he was going to look for them and bring them out next time he is out. He used to race bracket cars for many years at thel local drag strips, and has a collection of his own memorabilia, for which these cars were in it. We all met up today for a little breakfast (we are 100 miles apart), and after breakfast at the restaurant, he brings me these out of his trunk.

Picked up these from my local Krogers store yesterday
