So, ya' want to run Goat Hill?

First...This is NOT the sign up. I want to make sure my rules are clear.
Final Rules are Done (Hopefully)

Goat Hill Rules
Wheels:
Any Plastic or Rubber treaded offroad or tractor wheels allowed
mini/normal monster truck wheels are fine. Just watch your height.(see below)
minimum of 3 wheels, No maximum
Any color is ok
Real or Fantasy Vehicles Allowed.
It must look like it can be driven
Example:
A dinosaur car NO,
A dino with a cockpit/windshield Yes (similar to how they do the monster trucks)
Someone riding the dino Yes (only if the rider fly’s off)
The Car:
60 gram max, No Minimum Weight.
balance and CG are important
Car max size:
Height: No Limit, but,
the Flag Stand sticks out 1” and is 1.75” tall
(see photos in the thread)
Length Less than 6”
Width Under 2”
No low bumpers, splitters, spoilers,
They will grab the humps and flip you over
Humps in track are ~3/16 - 1/4” tall and 2” wide
Give yourself clearance
Teams:
Each Team will consist of a minimum of:
1 - Stock car chosen from a “pick it” video
1 - Modified car that must get to Goat Hill by Mid Season Madness
Optional Team Rules
If you want to send up two 3 cars, they will be in your pit boxes (2)
The Team owner can elect to swap in any of the 4 cars during the season
Request changes in lineup by a youtube comment.
The stock car chosen will be used to start filming, and for “special challenges”
As soon as your car shows up, or after race 1,
you can swap in your lead driver for the stock one.
If multi cars, I will run all your cars and you chose your lead driver.
Additional Options.
If return shipping ($5/ car) is included, I can send back one, or both the backup cars if they performed poorly. (must still maintain team minimum requirements)
You can send in replacements thru-out the whole season even if you don’t want them mailed back
Season and races.
A season will be 10 races (minimum)
Will do some special events as cars get here so each team can see their cars run,
and chose the lead driver
All Teams run all season.
Races 1-5 will total each teams points Top 3 are the mid season winners.
Races 6-9 everyone starts at 0 points (mid season points do not crossover)
and a new Team total of point is earned. Top 3 are 2nd season winners.
Race 10 adds both totals and breaks all ties. Top 3 are the Season Champs
All the top 3 winners will be guaranteed starting places in the next season
Take your time in choosing your stock car.
It will be “holding down the fort” before you get here
There will be a very good selection.(52 cars)
Most of the cars on the first season are stock cars, look who did well with what castings.
All stock cars will be inspected and tested that they go up the hill.
Lube is fine whatever ya like.
I will Not lube anyone’s cars,
I will Not repair a car.
(If your mod car breaks, you could be bumped for Minimum Team Requirements,)
The stock can replace it for the short term if you can get a replacement before season ends.
No Putty
Additionally at Goat Hill,
Girls in bikinis are Welcome
or any driver figures (inside, or as stand up)
And are riders, too
like baby cookie, Harry’s kangaroo, or the polar bear
Ask if you have questions, I’ll answer/define it

Discussion
"Real or fantasy vehicles allowed" followed by broad exceptions. Maybe eliminate fantasies unless you're prepared to answer many questions. Just trying to save you some work here.
Allowing mini & full size monster truck wheels, your flag stand is already dictating maximum height for a build, if the flag stand is so integral to the course and cannot be altered maybe consider limiting the largest wheel choice size to BLOR (Bead Lock Off Road) knobby wheels found on most off road stock castings
Put a hard ban on tungsten putty. Some tech is not worth the hassle for hosts and racers alike
Any Chance This Car Will Work For The Hill?
- thats fine — dr_dodge
- Hey Portillo, nice color choices! What casting is that? — Sunshine_City_Garage
- Blade Raider — PortilloEntertainmentRacing
- it's also a good start to something else, too — dr_dodge
- Do Tell... — PortilloEntertainmentRacing
- just, sayin' read the rules well, not stated as prohibited it's totally fair game. make gigahorse (multi castings to make one) scratch build it, attach some car body...go for it — dr_dodge
- but, have fun, and every maied in car runs the whole season, no one and done here, you will have to endure 10 races if your car struggles — dr_dodge
so, some pics to show the clearance around the flag stand
looking down the track
looking down
I am gonna "suggest" to stay below it, but it also only sticks out an inch.
Feel free to go over that height if you want. I will not reject a car for height.
Launch and lane spacing
and to show the track jumps, Daisy and her Dozer (1/64 scale AD girl, and a 1/87 scale D5)
the ramp is a hump, with a squared off edge at every white line
3rd photo down I drew a line to show ya.
You can see the distance between the end of one and the beginning of the next hump
any questions, ask I am getting stuff organized, and an very close.
and BTW, I editted the first post. all changes will be in bold
dr
here is a chart of some of the cars
weights, balances, wheelbase
when you watch the next two races and see the final scores,
compare the cars to this chart
I'll try to get a make a better version (easier to read) but for now...

Hello Dr Dodge, I would love to be one of the rookies, if there's an opening.
- watch for the official launch, and look over the Goat Hill races to see what castings seem to work — dr_dodge
- love to have ya — dr_dodge
- Will do, thanks! — Sunshine_City_Garage
Hey Doctor!
I have to say again - fantastic job in imagining a whole new way to race, You conceived it and then created it. Nice work. Looking forward to racing on the hill - I may need to send a different alternate rig.
