Some weekend racing

Finally going to try and host a race for the kids at the campground where we have a seasonal site. Excited and nervous at the same time. I’ve been wanting to do this for a while and now seems like the right time. I’m hoping this is the first step towards starting a local club and hosting some races north of the border for the Red Line Derby Community. Wish me luck. Lol

I can say that all the kids that showed up had a blast. I think they had almost as much fun as I did. Lots of racing and prizes given out. And who doesn’t love free ice cream donated by the family centre at the lake. Wasn’t sure if the weather was going to cooperate so we set up under the patio, but the rain held off and we managed to get 3 hours of racing in. All in all it was an amazing experience. Can’t wait to do it again. 

Bravo 41-14...it's amazing how the draw of diecast racing is still so strong, even in today's instantaneous world...Hat's Off to you my Brother for carrying the Flame in the Great White North!!!
