Spool Heads Racing Drag Strip
So I broke down and purchased Spool Heads setup to build a 10' dragstrip, replacing my orange track. I set out to keep a similar angle and ramp length and so far the track performs great. The lanes are slightly wider and I had to use one of his adapters so I could connect to orange track and to my SlanMan timing system. He also had a track piece that I set over the SlanMan start gate and it works perfectly. If anyone is interested in seeing it in action, message me here and I will email a link to my latest video.

Really nice setup.
I'm in the middle of a build t as well and have been using Spool Heads track pieces with the quality of the parts and the service being top shelf. I'm hoping Spool Heads comes out with a timing system sometime soon but for now I'm needing to adapt a JHKrafts start finish timer to my track, which wouldn't be my first choice. Didn't realize that Slanman had a timing system that could be adapted to the Spool Heads track so your info is appreciated and it gives me something to check into. Thanks again.
Cool setup. The only thing I see as a potential problem is that it being wider you get more side to side movement which takes away from your ET.
