Starting a blog to help grow the drag racing side of the hobby / help content creators

I have started a blog and want to share it here for those who may be interested. My hopes is to help content creators share thier stories on another platform that could aid in growing thier channels. Drag racing is still such a small niche compared to other forms of hot wheels racing and we need all the help we can get. Redline derby is such a great place for information, but stories can get buried quick and I want to give other drag racers a chance to talk about thier tracks, share thier stories and maybe help grow their channels if they have one.

I know some things can get buried in the forum but if there are long-form articles/stories/interviews posted here, they will get highlighted and pushed quite a bit, often for many weeks. The tags/collections in the forum help organize things a bit too.
Long-form articles don't happen as often as the regular chit chat and one-off posts but I'm always happy to promote them and shine a light on them when they do get posted. I encourage everyone to write more long-form here if they feel so inclined...I wish there was more! There's a built-in audience here, 15 year's worth of Google juice, no ads, and you don't have to "run" a website - just write. RLD is a blogging platform as much as it's a forum.

- I used to write for blogs and loved being able to just write and not worry about running the website, social, etc. I just want folks to know they are welcome to write thoughtful articles here and they won't get neglected. Lots of people have used RLD as a launch point for their on ventures...it can be a good place to test things before the Big Time happens. — redlinederby
