Team vs Team List Race

Teams of 5 going up against other teams, in a team list on a straight track drag race

Rules & restrictions

• Modified entries only
• added weight to be hidden
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 5 entries per team
• No limit to number of teams per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Dry lube only for weight classes

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Sunday, 6/25/2023. Racing is scheduled for Sunday, 7/9/2023. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host. Races will be posted on YT and a link posted within the Group on FB

Race format and scoring

Every Sunday there will be 2 teams going at it to create the list of 10 teams.

Once a team has been eliminated from the list, they will be sent back.

The top 10 teams will remain until they have been eliminated.

Once the list has been established, a new event will be posted to challenge the list.

Within the 5 car team, they will need to be in different classes
1. 30g max
2. 31g-40g max
3. 41g-50g max
4. 51g-60g max
5. 61g=Outlaw

If a car weighs more than the max weight for their class. That car will be eliminated from the race, but not the whole team

Include a card with the cars and their requested class.

Each weight class will have retail axles and black wheels.

Outlaw class (61g+) lube, axles and wheels are open

Race host has final decision in all races.

Lanes will be chosen via coin toss. whoever lives furthest will have choice on the coin toss.

after lanes have been chosen, the team will stay in that lane for that one race

new coin toss will be done with each new team vs team challenge

Each season will be determained by number of teams entered

$10 entry per team
Add $10 if you want your cars returned.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify to be raced.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
